This inefficiency impacts not only the financial results of transport companies but also the quality of services provided to customers, potentially leading to a loss of competitiveness in the market.

The introduction of Real Decreto Ley 3/2022 in Spain, which prohibits truck drivers of vehicles over 7.5 tons from performing loading and unloading tasks, could be a solution aimed at improving logistics efficiency.
